This week’s featured Goldline Ambassador is Kalynn Park, second on the team skipped by Shannon Kleibrink. Do the names Kalynn and Park sound familiar? If you’ve visited Goldline’s website or one of our retail stores, you may well be familiar with our Kalynn curling pants – designed by none other than Kalynn Park herself! And the Park name is well known in the Alberta curling community, with Kalynn’s father being none other than Kevin Park.

Cross Canada Curling Calendar to end of October 2012

The second half of October featured a busy curling calendar with Goldline Ambassadors playing across Canada! We had teams in the Manitoba Lotteries Women's Curling Classic, the Canad Inns Prairie Classic, the Cactus Pheasant Classic, the Challenge Cartier de Gatineau and the Huron ReproGraphics Oil Heritage Classic.

May the force – or should I say G Force – be with you!

The G Force is the newest addition to Goldline’s curling shoes. “Our real target for the G Force shoe was the younger curler. We saw many strong curlers coming up through the bantam and junior ranks who were clearly ready for a shoe with a ¼” slider, but the price point on these shoes was really too high for them. Our aim was to produce a high performance shoe with a ¼” slider that would retail for under $200.”

Get to know Goldline Ambassador Eve Muirhead

At only 22 years of age she has already captured the attention of the curling world. Eve Muirhead is a 4 time world junior champion, the 2010 world silver medallist, and she made her first Olympic appearance as the skip of team Great Britain at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games. She has also never been in a bar fight and loves a good steak. Learn more about this curling sensation as we interview her as the Goldline Ambassador of the week.

It needed to be something fresh but with the competitive edge in performance! After spending several hours in and out of change rooms between Calgary and Toronto trying on everything from yoga pants to dress pants, we finally felt we had molded the perfect pant for curling.
