What a start to the month of December! The Canada Cup men’s and women’s titles, as well as potentially two direct berths into the Olympic trials, were on the line last weekend in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

At the young age of 32, Brad Gushue has accumulated more curling accolades than most of us will acquire in a lifetime. He’s a former national and world junior champion. He has represented the province of Newfoundland 9 times at the Brier – he won silver in 2007 and bronze in 2011 - and he has hopes of representing the province a tenth time at the 2013 Brier in Edmonton next March.
