At the young age of 32, Brad Gushue has accumulated more curling accolades than most of us will acquire in a lifetime. He’s a former national and world junior champion. He has represented the province of Newfoundland 9 times at the Brier – he won silver in 2007 and bronze in 2011 - and he has hopes of representing the province a tenth time at the 2013 Brier in Edmonton next March. He’s appeared in multiple Grand Slam events. And he became the first athlete from The Rock to win an Olympic gold medal, when he beat Finland in the gold medal game at the 2006 Turin Olympics.
Off ice, he’s a business owner, husband and a father to two young daughters.
This week, we are proud to introduce you to Goldline ambassador, Brad Gushue. Goldline wishes Brad and his entire team the best of luck at the Newfoundland provincial playdowns which run February 5-11, 2013.
