Details

Goldline’s new line-up of G50 shoes includes Stance, Breeze, Swift and Velocity. These shoes are athletic, fashionable and packed with performance. All four styles feature a flexible upper and stable outsole for the perfect combination of balance and mobility.

These Velocity curling shoes feature a top-of-the-line 1/4" Teflon slider on the left foot (for right-handed curlers) and a premium rubber gripper sole on the right foot. The slider has strategically placed indents on the toe and heel that distribute weight to the periphery, enhancing stability. This makes the Velocity a great option for anyone looking for high end stability features and the best available Teflon sliding speed.

Shoes rated as Speed 10 will maximize your sliding speed out of the hack, reducing leg stress and making it easier to achieve precision even with full take out weight.

The G50 style is also available with more moderate Speed 5 and Speed 7 options. The Swift offers great value for performance with a 5/32" Teflon, Speed 7 slider and stability indents. The Breeze is rated as a Speed 5 with a 3/32" Teflon slider. The Stance offers a "double gripper" version of the G50, with grippers on both feet.

Very Lightweight!

I changed to these shoes part way through the year. They are so LIGHT and comfortable. I went in to get a toe coat at the end of the season and the store staff was so helpful!

Get your longest and smoothest glide with these shoes

|

These shoes are great. I was nervous about buying shoes online because I have a very wide foot. I ordered a half size up and was glad I did. The shoes are roomy enough to wear two pairs of socks and curl comfortably for over 3 straight hours. Also, the glide is incredibly smooth. Being fairly new to curling, it took me a couple of hours to get used to the speed and quickness of these shoes. However, once I got my balance with these shoes, my sliding form and distance improved dramatically.

Good shoes

I am a beginning curler (about one season of experience, and arena ice) and I have been curling with loose sliders and my sneakers until I purchased these shoes. These are my first curling shoes. They allow me to slide much, much further with the same push from the hack. I have relatively wide feet and these fit well.

Good fit

Good gripper. No breaking in. Was easy to get on and not loose to fall off

Great Slide!

|

Great shoe, great slide with 1/4". Keeps my feet warm.

Lightweight and comfortable

Good value for price. Glad I read reviews and took advice which I am passing forward again. IF you have a wide foot and-or high arch, order a half size larger. Despite the "wide foot" advertising, the truly WIDE foot will need more than your "usual size". Otherwise, very good fit.

Just what I ordered!

|

Excellent service. Received exactly what I ordered within only a few days. I'm enjoying the light weight, well fitting, warm shoes.

Slider separation.

|

Front slider started separating from shoe on first use.

RESPONSE: Hi Tess! Sorry you missed it in the description, but these shoes have a split slider that is designed to increase flexibility. This is a design feature, not a production flaw.
