Clutch Curling Gloves

I had high hopes for these gloves for the season but they didn’t even last more than a month. The grippy part started flaking off and shedding onto the ice which was bad because it is a clear material and you can barely see it on the ice or under rocks. Will be returning.

RESPONSE: Thank you for the feedback Danielle. While it doesn't appear to be widespread we have had a few reports of this, I'm sorry it happened to you. If you haven't already reached out to our customer service, please do so and we will either issue you a refund or exchange for a different glove. We're also working with our manufacturer to correct the issue on our next production run.

Grippy layer peels off. Like the earlier review states, this peels off and is hard to find on the ice. This happened after on my first pair of gloves after 5 uses, and the replacement pair happened on the 1st use.

I saw a recent review on these gloves from another curler and wanted to leave my review. I've had the same problem with the flaking of the "grip zone." I've already contacted customer service and they sent me a new pair (thank you)! The gloves themselves are great because they fit great, they are comfortable, they keep my fingers and hands warm and I have to say they give me amazing grip on my Goldline Air X broom and I feel like I can put lots of weight on my broom and hold myself up. I would give it 5 stars but the peeling/flaking of the grip zone makes it somewhat concerning. I don't think my gloves have been shedding so much that it's affecting my games. Hope this review is helpful.

I love the gloves- but mine don’t last long. I do curl 6 days a week .

These gloves are not their best, by far. The grippy part flakes on to the ice. The insides of the gloves ball up and feel weird on the hands. They also stink very bad. Had them for less than a year and they make my hands stink. Goldline’s products are usually amazing and they are a great company to go through. So this was unfortunate.

RESPONSE: Sorry to hear about your experience Amber. While not widespread, we did have a few players with similar feedback this season. We've improved the material on the palm of these gloves for the 2023-24 season. Please contact us for a warranty replacement.

These did not even last me the full season as the coating flaked/rubbed off, the insides pilled, and left my hands smelling quite unpleasant. It would also be nice if all gloves had a bit of extra reinforcement between the thumb and index finger as every pair (in different styles) I've owned have torn at this location.

I’ve only played with these gloves twice and they are peeling and flaking to a point that they’ve become unusable as they’re messing up the ice. I was really hoping for a better experience.

RESPONSE: Allana, our apologies for your experience with this. There were some gloves in our initial run that experienced this exact issue, but it was resolved in our second run. Please email store@goldlinecurling.com for a no-charge warranty replacement.

I HEARD THAT THESE WERE HAVING AN ISSUE SHEDDING ON THE ICE. I TALKED TO GOLDLINE AND THEY SAID THE ISSUE IN THAT 1ST BATCH WAS FIXED. IVE BEEN PLAYING WITH THESE NOW FOR 2 MONTHS AND NO ISSUE WITH PEELING
