The Impact Head from Goldline is the culmination of years of research focused on developing a curling broom head that maximizes performance within the confines of the World Curling Federation's specifications.
Topologically effecient, the Impact Head is lightweight while maintaining its structural integrity to ensure that your downward pressure is maximized across the surface of your pad. Throughout the development process we modelled out the pressure profile and ran simulations on performance to ensure we remained focused on developing the best high performance curling broom head we have ever made.
On ice testing confirms that the Impact Head maximizes performance for carry, hold and carve.
The Impact Head comes equipped with our standard quick release hosel, ensuring compatibility with existing Goldline handles. We've also used a push button release system to allow for quick and easy pad replacement that is reliable enough to keep your pad in place where you need it.
If you are putting together a complete Impact Head, be sure to pick up an Impact Head, an Impact Pad Base, an Impact Foam and either an Impact Rec Sleeve or an Impact Pro Sleeve.

This was a warranty replacement. The service on both the claim and subsequent product delivery was very prompt. The new head is working well as of this writing. I don't see the same looseness in the connectors as the original head. I like both the Impact broom and pad excellent for sweeping.

I was recently advised of a recall involving the head of my 1 year old broom. I contacted Goldline and received a reply quickly that a replacement head would be shipped. The new head was received in just a couple of days and it solved the problem I was experiencing.

Warranty Replacement

Thanks to a helpful review I realized I had a broom head from a bad batch (6-22), the rings on the bottom wouldn't stay tight and the pad would constantly fall off. I contacted Customer Service and they sent me a new one immediately. Got to try it out in a spiel last weekend and it worked flawlessly.

I found out there was a requal on my imoact head. Sent the pictures in and they replaced it quickly. I made the mistake saying itcwas a 1" head, sadly it was 1 1/8". Not their mistake, mine. I donated the new head to our juniors

The original impact head on my brush was always separating from the pad, after talking with ????? She was very helpful sent me a new head covered by warranty. Now I love my brush it works great. Thanks Goldline
Easy replacement

My son bought one of these brooms a few years ago. The impact head broke on it (one of the two buttons wouldn't engage in it anymore) but even though it was past the warranty date, goldline replaced it for free. Thanks goldline!

Impact Head - Poor Quality

This product is very poor quality! The mop head cracked after two months of use, and the replacement I was given is doing the same thing. Very disappointed!
RESPONSE: Guillaume, I'm sorry to hear this has been your experience. We were surprised to find that some stronger sweepers, such as yourself, are able to crack the heads. We have made revisions to address this, and will gladly provide a warranty replacement for your broken head.

Disappointed that I have to replace the broom head. Love the broom but the nuts keep loosening off and pad pops off repeatedly. Has been here been any upgrades?
